According to the latest data from the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, as of April 20, 2020, the daily volume of milk sales by agricultural organizations amounted to 49.5 thousand tons, which is 7% more than the same indicator in 2019 (3.2 thousand tons).
The maximum sales volumes were achieved in the Republic of Tatarstan, Krasnodar Territory, Voronezh, Kirov, Novosibirsk, Sverdlovsk, Belgorod, Moscow, Leningrad and Nizhny Novgorod Regions, the Udmurt Republic, Altai Territory.
To date, according to current data, the gross milk yield in the republic per day is 3890.1 tons, which is 172 tons more than last year (104.6%). Milk per 1 cow per day - 17 kg, which is 1.2 kg more than the previous year. 4,385.4 tons of milk were sold per day, which is 241.3 tons more and makes up 106% compared to 2019.
The leaders among the regions of Tatarstan in milk yield from one cow per day are Atninsky (31 kg), Sabinsky (26 kg), Mamadyshsky (26 kg), Kukmorsky (25.9 kg), Baltasinsky (23 kg), Nizhnekamsk (20.1 kg), Aktanyshsky (18.6 kg), Aznakaevsky (18.5 kg), Vysokogorsky (18.2 kg) and Arsky districts (18 kg).
Earlier, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan reported that the Nizhnekamsk district reached 100 tons of daily milk production. It managed to achieve such a result thanks to the use of digitalization in dairy farming.
