The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia together with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan held an “Hour of Control” on the uninterrupted operation of agricultural enterprises of Tatarstan

The Russian Ministry of Agriculture held meetings, dedicated to ensuring the smooth operation of agricultural producers in the context of the coronavirus epidemic. The Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, head of the Main Directorate of Veterinary Medicine of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan - Chief State Veterinary Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan Almaz Khisamutdinov, took part in the event, which was held by videoconference by the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture Dzhambulat Khatuov, Office of Rospotrebnadzor in the Republic of Tatarstan Lyubov Avdonina and heads of agricultural enterprises of the republic.

Opening the meeting, Dzhambulat Khatuov emphasized that enterprises with technological processes that involve a significant concentration of people in one place - in slaughter, processing and sorting shops - are under the special control. In order to prevent coronavirus infection in enterprises, it is necessary to create reserves of labor resources from 8% to 30%. In addition, in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, it is important to strengthen the access regime, limit the movement of workers in the workshops, and if necessary, introduce a shift schedule. “Each agricultural organization needs to develop a clear plan of action in case of detection of the diseased,” said the First Deputy Minister.

Marat Zyabbarov reported that there are 1,170 livestock enterprises in the republic and more than a thousand food and processing enterprises operating. All agricultural enterprises have taken measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection. The Ministry, together with the heads of municipal districts, took personal control of the implementation of these plans.

In order to support the livestock industry, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the veterinary service of the republic organized visiting ambulance brigades. They are equipped with mobile precincts, 77 units of disinfection units on the GAZ and KAMAZ chassis, 48 mobile disinfection units, 101 knapsack sprayers, 48 mobile veterinary units on the basis of the UAZ car, 101 Lada Largus Cross vehicles, equipped with obstetric, surgical, pathological kits, injectors for mass seasonal events, aerosol disassembly. The available stock of disinfectants allows the disinfection of a total area of 21.5 million square meters and 103 million sq.m of the current disinfection.

More than 2000 specialists ensure the veterinary safety of the republic.

Since the beginning of this week, the Russian Ministry of Agriculture has held a series of such meetings, in which more than 400 large and medium enterprises from 16 constituent entities of the Russian Federation have already taken part. Such a format of interaction allows to quickly exchange information about the current situation in the regions, to identify the most developed anti-crisis plans and bring them to all market participants. The Ministry takes into account the proposals of entities and agricultural producers in the formation of additional measures of state support for the agricultural sector. It is planned that meetings in the format of the “Hour of Control” will cover all regions of the country.
