This year, field work in the Alkeevsky district began 10 days earlier than usual. Fertilizers on the fields are applied using aircraft and units "Fog" and "Amazon".
In the direction of the Kargopol and Sluberdinsk fields, airplanes take over from the former airfield. Two planes spray 1200 kilograms of mineral fertilizers on 10 hectares of land.
“Fertilizing from an airplane certainly speeds things up. We are feeding winter wheat. We have been working for the sixth day. We add ammonium nitrate at the rate of 120 kilograms per hectare. Fertilizers have been already received by winter wheat on an area of 884 hectares. It has become warmer, so fertilized crops will begin to grow rapidly. We feed the perennial herbs with the “Fog” aggregate. We have to apply fertilizers on 691 hectares, occupied by the fire”, says Ilnar Khismatullin, agronomist of the Kargopol detachment.
Ilnar is a young specialist, who lives in the village of Studenets with his family and parents. A spouse with an 8-month-old baby is on maternity leave. Ilnar has been working in the Kargopol squad for two years. A young family dreams of building their own house over time and staying in the area.
“The fields of the Vostok Zernoproduct Society are fertilized by 6 aircrafts. 4 of them fly over the Alkeevsky district. The weather is excellent. Yesterday we went up 40 times. This means that fertilizers were spread on an area of 400 hectares”, crew commander Sergei Larin tells about his work.
The agronomist of the Tyazhberdino, Ilgiz Nasybulin, says that there are 1,038 hectares of fields with winter wheat in their detachment. It is already the sixth day that they have been feeding winter crops. “Today, spring is in a hurry, rushing us too. It is good that the aircraft did not have to wait long, arrived on time. While the soil is moist, winter crops get excellent top dressing. In such favorable weather, we’ll introduce fertilizers as soon as possible”, says the specialist.
Another aircraft operates at the Vostochnoye Alkeevo branch. A dried up area near Starye Chelny was chosen as the runway.
“The plane arrived four days ago. For the first day they managed to feed 200 hectares of fields. Everything is going well. Tomorrow morning we will start feeding autumn wheat in the fields of the Urgagar detachment. At the same time, pilots Tabris Zaynullin and Ramis Valiev hitched Amazon units to their MTZ-1221 tractors and have already managed to fertilize 620 hectares of areas occupied by perennial grass”, says branch manager Rais Gayfullin.
According to current data from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, winter crops in the republic are currently fed on an area of 229 thousand ha, perennial - 101 thousand ha. In total this year, winter crops will be fed on an area of 486.7 thousand ha, perennial grasses - on 484.1 thousand ha.
