A “record” cow in Tatarstan delivered 10 calves, produced 90 tons of milk and almost 2 million rubles of revenue
At a meeting in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan, a Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov told about a curious fact.
“The republic has a rather high genetic potential of local dairy cattle. An indicator of how productive is a cow is important for the milk economy, ”said Marat Zyabbarov, citing an interesting example.
The cow owned by the Vakhitov cooperative in the Kukmorsky district brought 10 calves and in total produced 90 tons of milk during this period. And this is almost 2 million rubles revenue and more than 700 thousand rubles profit.
High-yielding cows in this area are from the Dawn, Ural, and Vostok cows in the agricultural complex; in the Baltasinsky district - “Alga”, “Yana Tormysh”, “Kyzyl Yul”, Atninsky - “Shakhtar”, “Lenin Plemzavod”. The cows in these farms are the offspring of bulls-producers of the Elite breeding enterprise of the Vysokogorsky municipal district, which is the center of breeding and genetic work in the republic. The quality of the seed is world-class. Over the past year, more than one million doses of seed have been produced and over 400 thousand have been sold.
“It is necessary to use the available resources and seed,” the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan called on livestock breeders, noting that the maximum productivity of cows is revealed when high technologies are introduced.
In Laishevsky district, Dairy Technologies LLC began to feed cows with balanced ready-made feed, which was produced in the feed center of the Monocorm agricultural cooperative in Kukmorsky district. In 3 weeks of feeding, the daily productivity of cows increased from 12 kg to 21 kg.
“Good genetics and balanced feeding provides an average daily gain of 850-900 grams, achieving a random weight of 13-15 months, getting an offspring of 22-24 months. We have such indicators in the advanced farms of the republic. To increase productive longevity and improve reproduction, there is a technological regulation developed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food for the cultivation of highly productive heifers. It is necessary to adhere to it, ”summed up Marat Zyabbarov.
