High production costs and low salaries reduce the profitability of Tatarstan's agricultural enterprises

Today at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rishat Khabipov, held a meeting of the interagency balance commission to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the decrease in profit volumes of agricultural organizations of Tatarstan.

Irina Pronina, chief state tax inspector of the desk control department of the Federal Tax Service for the RT, and Zulfiya Mukhamedyarova, head of the department for economic and social development of the Ministry of Economy of the RT, also took part in the event.

Presentations were made by the leaders, chief accountants and economists of 9 agricultural organizations of the republic, who allowed a decrease in 2019. Among the typical problems of these enterprises were identified: the high cost of production of meat and milk, compared to the national average low wages.

During the meeting, the main measures to eliminate the prevailing dynamics of indicators of production and financial activity were developed, and the development of a draft roadmap for entering break-even activities was discussed.
