Nail Zalakov reported on the training of agricultural personnel

Nail Zalakov, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, reported on training for the agricultural sector of the republic today at a meeting in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a videoconference with all municipal areas. The meeting was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Alexey Pesoshin.

Nail Zalakov said that today agricultural colleges and universities are modernizing the educational process, teaching students in conditions close to modern production. For example, students of the Menzelinsky Agricultural College practice at the training and production site of Zaikovsky LLC. Teachers are also trained to operation of the latest agricultural machinery.

“Universities see their development in the practical training of students and the digitalization of the educational process,” said a specialist at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Students of the Kazan State Academy of Veterinary Medicine visit various agricultural enterprises for practical training. Retraining and advanced training programs are being developed. In 2019, 512 specialists were trained. This year it is planned to train more than 500 specialists.

In order to improve the practical training of students and industry experts, Kazan State Agrarian University cooperates with companies such as Bayer, Tatmeleoratsiya, Promintel-Agro, Rostselmash, Service-Agro, Tatagrohimservis, Stihl, Belarus. In 2020, it is planned to open and commission more than 10 classrooms with the Russian Agricultural Bank, Bionovatik, Agrosila, Yaroslavich, Schelkovoagrokhim, Amazone.

Together with the August-Muslumovo LLC, a practice-oriented curriculum is being implemented as part of the Academy of Agriculture educational project. Training takes place throughout the year and covers the entire production cycle. The total number of students is more than 150 people.

In conjunction with the State Budget Institution “Center of Competencies for the Development of Agricultural Cooperation in the Republic of Tatarstan”, continuing education courses “Cooperative Manager” have been organized and are being implemented. The courses attracted students not only from the republic, but also from 9 subjects of Russia. The further continuation of the courses is planned using remote technologies and involving the leaders of rural settlements.

In the republic, the Tatar Institute of Retraining of Agribusiness Personnel also carries out work on additional education. For the current year, training programs have been compiled taking into account the modern realities of agricultural production.
