“My husband has been farming for more than 6 years. He works in the meat direction. I always help him. We have a lot of land, and when the Agrostartup program was announced, my husband supported me, and I decided to try my hand,” Zilya Abdullina began her story.
The Agrostartup project within the framework of the National project “Small and medium-sized enterprises and support for entrepreneurial initiatives” came in handy. This project is aimed at involving the majority of the rural population in entrepreneurship, increasing its employment and income.
In the summer, the whole family practically lives on the beds. They grow cabbage, carrots, beets, potatoes and other vegetables. Without the use of any chemical means of protection. Caring for the family and the desire to supply a large number of people with environmentally friendly, natural products is the main goal, which helped to easily collect documents to receive grant support from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan and defend its project in front of the commission.
Abdullins plan to plant cabbage on 10 hectares of land in the Sabinsky district. They have ordered the seeds. Seedlings will be grown by themselves, for sure. The grant has already acquired all the necessary equipment, right up to the irrigation system.
“Our lands are very well located. To the river at hand. When growing cabbage, this is a very important factor. Because immediately after planting, watering is required. "
As soon as the seeds arrive, planting will begin. May seedlings will be transplanted into the open ground. And in October they will harvest.

As soon as cabbage production is on the rails, Zili is ready for the next business project. In the future, she plans to engage in the production of sauerkraut.
