The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan proposed methods for the disposal of agricultural waste

5 March 2020, Thursday

On March 4, the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nail Zalakov met with a delegation led by a member of the Federation Council Committee on Agrarian and Food Policy and Environmental Management, a representative from the legislative government body of the Republic of Tatarstan Gennady Emelyanov.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan recalls that from January 1, 2020, Federal Law No. 280-FZ of 03.08.2018 “On Organic Products” entered into force. Therefore, the urgent issues today are ways to solve the problems of agricultural waste disposal. The main problem is processing waste from poultry farms. A large number of poultry farms, and there are more than 600 in Russia, produce up to 300 tons of litter per day each. So, in the Republic of Tatarstan, only Agrosila Chelny Broiler annually has 96 thousand tons of chicken manure. Therefore, the problem of processing poultry waste is one of the most important tasks of producers.

The guests proposed projects for the disposal of manure and other agricultural waste. Demonstrated equipment processes 30 tons per day. From recyclable waste they receive high-quality organic fertilizers and animal feed.

“Today, there is a problem with the utilization of bird manure. Together with our structures, we started work. In the structure of JSC "RACIN" we held meetings with all poultry farms, identified the problem, discussed with regulatory authorities. The main issue is to conceptually solve the problem of selling manure. That is, there should be infrastructure projects with covered areas, awnings, ”said Nail Zalakov.

“The problem is relevant and needs to be solved, ”concluded Gennady Emelyanov.

Separate working groups will be created to continue a more detailed study of these projects.
