News from the areas: Preparing for spring field work in the Nurlat region
Today in the Nurlat region, a meeting was held on preparations for the spring field work of 2020. The event was held by RT Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Rishat Khabipov.
The heads, specialists of the farms of the region and the heads of peasant farms discussed issues of seed quality, mineral fertilizers, equipment repair, training of specialists in the agricultural sector, etc.
The meeting was opened by the head of the district agricultural administration Rafis Ganiev. He talked about preparing for the spring field campaign.
“Arable area is 87 thousand hectares. Sown area is 75 thousand hectares. Compared to last year, our grain area will increase by 5497 hectares, ”he said.
Rishat Khabipov called on Nurlat agrarians to speed up preparations for spring field work.
“This year, the agrarians of the republic were given the task of using advanced technologies during the spring field campaign. Nurlatsky district is one of the first to start spring field work. It is necessary to timely and efficiently carry out work to preserve moisture and top dress winter crops, ”said Rishat Khabipov.
At the end of the meeting, he urged the farmers to use state support measures aimed at conducting spring field work.
