These are the words of the heroine of our publication, Irkyanur Ganieva, one of those farmers who lives and works in the Nurlat region. She knows firsthand about meat and dairy farming. Last year, she received a 4 million rubles grant from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan for the development of the dairy sector.
In total, 103 applicants received grants in terms of the National Project "Development of Small and Medium Enterprises" under the Agrostartup project in 2019.
“We have been engaged in animal husbandry since 2003. At first it was a meat direction. But every year, selling meat is becoming more difficult. Therefore, we thought about switching to dairy farming, ” I. Ganieva says.
Having learned about the program of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan "Agrostartup", they immediately studied it, all the pros and cons. Having thought it over, decided that they should try to participate and present their project.
Fate was by their side. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food has approved a project for dairy farming. Last year, 10 animals were brought; now in the Ganiev’s barn there are 27 animals of the milking herd. With the sale of milk there are no problems at all. The local cooperative "Vostok" takes milk from farmers at 23 rubles per liter.
To the question “What motivated the family to organize their rather expensive and time-consuming business?” the answer was concise: “We want to be an example for the youth of our region. We hope this is just the beginning. Since we succeeded, others can also participate in state programs and receive funds for the development of their own business".
According to the farmer, there are practically no difficulties in paperwork. The Competence Center of the Ministry provides advisory assistance. Specialists explain all the details. And the local authorities are always ready to help.
“Grants are needed and important,” continued Irkyanur Ganieva.
“By developing your own business in the countryside, you can fully provide yourself: with housing, and quality safe products, and not worry about your future and the future of your children. Such projects are very stimulating for young people. ”
As long as there is such support from the state, it is safe to say that the village will develop.
