103 applicants who received state support from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan last year, work in meat and dairy cattle breeding, grow vegetables, grow marketable fish, horses and do beekeeping.
Faiz Minnakhmetov from the Rybno-Slobodsky district chose the latter direction. His project for 150 bee families received 3 million rubles support from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The choice of this niche is related to the fact that the Minnakhmetov family has been engaged in beekeeping for more than 20 years. “Our hives are located in a forest, there is no pesticides and herbicides. We do not feed bees with sugar. It turns out to be completely natural and high-quality honey, ” Faiz told proudly.
Last year, due to weather conditions, the harvest was small, even regular customers didn’t get enough. Those who buy honey from the Minnakhmetovs once, stay their buyers forever.
“The true value of our work is when customers come back again and again. "Revenue is not as important as sincere gratitude expressed by regular customers."
Now they are preparing hives, they will buy bees in their own area. The Minnakhmetovs hope for a warm summer and a generous harvest. In addition to the sale to regular customers who come not only from the regions of Tatarstan, but also from neighboring regions, the family plans to supply natural products to educational institutions of the republic.
