In Tatarstan, the field work may start earlier
First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nail Zalakov reported on preparations for spring field work and the preparation of mineral fertilizers today at a meeting in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a videoconference with all municipal areas. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Aleksey Pesoshin took part in the meeting.
According to Nail Zalakov, “the current winter is significantly different from the standard one, there were no frosts and it snows less than in previous years. Warm February also led to a decrease in the snow cover. There is a possibility of an earlier start of field work. ”
According to the first deputy minister of agriculture and food of the Republic of Tatarstan, the work will be primarily held on winter crops. Since autumn, 494 thousand ha of winter crops have been sown in the republic, and their condition is generally good. Throughout the winter period, the service of the Agricultural Center carried out state monitoring.
“So far, there was no death of winter crops,” said Nail Zalakov. - But winter crops at such consumption of sugars can come out more weakened. Therefore, it is very important to feed them with nitrogen fertilizers in time. Even weakened plants, getting the right portion of timely nutrition, recover and form a good harvest. ”
In general, today in the republic there are 88.5 thousand tons of fertilizers, or 31.7 kg of active substance per hectare (a.i. / ha). So far, this is 3.0 kg a.i. / ha more than the same period last year.
The largest accumulation volumes of fertilizers are observed in the Zainsky district - 65 kg ai / ha; Tetyushsky - 62; Sarmanovsky –60; Atninsky - 58; Baltasinsky - 52; Sabinsky - 50; Kukmorsky and Tukaevsky - 44 k.a.i./ha each.
The largest increase - about 18 kg a.a. / ha - is in such areas as Sarmanovsky, Zainsky, Tukaevsky and Baltasinsky districts.
Some districts are seriously behind normal numbers: Novosheshminsky - 9 kg a.i. / ha; Cheremshansky –11; Verkhneuslonsky –16. At the same time, there are farms that already have more than 100 kg a.i. / ha.
“Today, farms are actively engaged in the process of developing work plans. The result of the year also seriously depends on competent planning. In recent years, double dressing has also begun to be used, when chemical dressing agents with microelements are used in advance, and just before sowing with bio-pesticides and bio-fertilizers.”
In addition, by order of the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan, deputy ministers and heads of republican organizations of the agro-industrial complex are assigned to regions to assist in the preparation and conduction of field work.
“In March, we plan, together with the heads of municipal districts, to adopt work plans for agricultural producers and farmers in municipal districts. I ask farm managers to seriously prepare for spring field work, ”said the speaker.
Rustam Minnikhanov, commenting on the speech, said that the issue of fertilizer accumulation every year becomes more relevant. He asked to take fertilizer purchase seriously, since the future crop ultimately depends on it.
