Our republic is rich with aquatic biological resources, especially fish. But we have not yet fully utilized this resource, which plays an important social and economic role.
No one doubts the value of fish as a food and diet product. In order to cope with inevitable problems for a novice entrepreneur, in 2019, the Republic has successfully implemented the National Project “Support for Small and Medium Enterprises”.
Last year, Rafis Akhmetsafin from the Bugulma district became one of the 103 holders of state support under the program of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Agrostartup. He received a 3 million rubles grant for growing fish. Planned volumes - 24 tons per year. The farmer believes that this is certainly profitable, and there is practically no competition in Tatarstan, and even in Russia.
“I was attracted to fish farming because my son has been engaged in it for 3 years now,” explains Rafis Minshagitovich. - Even as a teenager, the son often went to relatives in the Samara region, where this industry is quite well developed. We will raise fish that does not exist in Tatarstan - tribal carps, silver carp and grass carp. The key word here is "tribal."
The program of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan helped the farmer’s desire to coincide with the possibilities. The regional agricultural administration supported on all issues, seeing that the person really wants to work and is interested in organizing his business. So there were no problems with collecting documents.
“Refrigeration equipment was purchased for the grant, which will allow us to deliver frozen fish to stores, as required by sanitary rules. An aerator was brought from Ryazan. It is necessary for the fish to breathe comfortably in winter under a thick layer of ice. Also with this money we bought a feed extruder granulator. "
Fish farming is a laborious and complex process. If the cow can be examined in the barn, then the fish needs the water. Whether it’s sick or not, grows or not - you can’t just look and see. This year, Rafis Ahmetsafin will launch the first batch of fry into the lakes. And already in the fall, he plans to sell marketable fish not only in Bugulma, but also in other cities nearby — Aznakayevo, Bavly, Almetyevsk.
“Everything is simple and clear according to the business plan, but in reality it’s not easy,” he shares his concerns. - Ponds need to be processed so that there are no diseases and worms. Migratory birds often become carriers of viruses. Therefore, control over each process is needed. ”
In addition to the grant, I had to invest his financial resources - more than 2 million rubles. In the future, the farmer plans to grow salmon breeds. And also to sell fry to farmers like him. Rafis Akhmetsafin is sure that the future of the village is promising: working state programs, initiative people.
“So, we will grow and develop!” - he concludes the conversation and promises to tell about his successes in the fall.
