As the agricultural sector, Buinsky district takes 4th place in Tatarstan

On February 26, in the Buinsky district, a meeting of the District Council was held on the results of socio-economic development for 2019 and tasks for 2020 with the participation of the Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, Alexey Pesoshin. The event was also attended by Rishat Khabipov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The head of the executive committee of the Buinsky district, Ranis Kamartdinov, said that the gross territorial product for 2019 was estimated at 14.5 billion rubles, or 105% compared to last year. The main contribution to the growth of the region's economy was made by such sectors as agriculture (37%) and industry (23%). The industrial production index amounted to 99.6% of the level of 2018. The volume of shipped products reached 6 billion 615 million rubles, which is 6.5% higher than for the same period of the previous year.

Ranis Kamartdinov noted that the gross agricultural output of all agricultural producers in the region amounted to 5 billion 259 million rubles - 116% of the level of 2018. Crop production increased by 39% and amounted to 2.5 billion rubles. Gross grain harvest amounted to 169.5 thousand tons, which is 35% more than in 2018. Gross harvest of sugar beets increased by 62% and brought 357 thousand tons. Livestock production increased by 4% and amounted to 2 billion 706 million rubles.

The basis for further changes in the economy is investment. The volume of investments in fixed assets for 2019 was estimated at about 2 billion rubles. Work has begun on the creation of the municipal industrial park Buinsk. On an allotted area of 27 hectares, by 2026 it is planned to place full-cycle production facilities and create more than 700 new jobs. To date, electricity and gas supply networks, water intake, biological treatment plants, and road works have been completed.

In Buinsky district, 1352 small and medium-sized enterprises are registered. The turnover is 2 billion 229 million rubles. In the structure of gross territorial product, the share of SMEs is 21.6%, which is 1.6% more than the same period last year.

Aleksey Pesoshin noted that among the competitive advantages of the Buinsky district there is a favorable geographical location (it borders with the Ulyanovsk region and the Republic of Chuvashia), well-developed transport infrastructure and the presence of modern industrial enterprises.

According to the results of 2019, the Buinsky district is in 25th place in the ranking of socio-economic development. “The industry of the region has great potential, which needs to be increased and effectively implemented for the benefit of the prospective development of the territory,” the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan noted.

He emphasized that systematic work in the region to create a favorable investment climate and support business entities is underway. The business activity index was 46 points - 12th place in the Republic of Tatarstan. “The district administration needs to complete the formation of the infrastructure of the Buinsk industrial park and put it into operation. And the most important thing is to ensure that residents fill it with promising investment projects. Funds for this have been allocated and practically disbursed, ”added Alexey Pesoshin.

According to the results of the year, the district takes the 4th place in the republic rating of the agro-industrial complex. But the main share of the cash proceeds in the industry is formed by the Avangard enterprise of the Ak Bars holding company.

“In animal husbandry, it is necessary to strengthen work in the dairy direction. Today, farms of the district have about 85 tons of milk per day. A year ago, the President of Tatarstan set a goal to reach the volume of 100 tons of milk per day. We need to complete this task, ”the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan addressed the leadership of the district.
