On the eve of February 23, we decided to pay special attention to those who ensure the food security of our country, people who are not afraid of either hard work, responsibility or weather conditions - our farmers. The ministry prepared a series of publications “What Real Men Think About”, in which we will tell how these people live, what plans they make and how they instill love for their native land to their children.
Recently, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan awarded the winners of the republican contest “Family Farmer Dynasties”. Among them, awards were received by Shaukat and Ildar Giniyatov from the village of Staroe Ivanaevo, Chistopolsky District.
The Giniyatov family has been engaged in crop production for many years. In 2019, on their 553.7 hectare plot, they grew more than 1.5 thousand tons of crops. The farm has a decent fleet of agricultural machinery: Niva and Don combines, KamAZ and five tractors. Also, last year, according to the program of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan "Technical and technological modernization of agricultural production (60x40)", the farm acquired a modern cultivator. The farm paid 60 percent of the cost from its own funds, and the state subsidized 40 percent of the costs.
The Giniyatov technique is treated with care. The new cultivator stands neatly packaged, as if it had just been driven. In addition to the basic equipment, Shaukat Giniyatov assembled a hand-held unit - a grain thrower. With its help, you can transfer the grain, loading it into vehicles.
“I’ve used to work as a truck crane driver at PMK-128. Every summer we were sent to collective farms for harvesting. I came to the village for several years in a row. Then the collective farm chairman invited me to work as a foreman. And I stayed. It was a hard period - 90s. At one of the reporting and election meetings, the former head of the district, Vyacheslav Kozlov, suggested that I take the land and go about my business. So, since 2002, I have been engaged in farming,” Shaukat Giniyatov shares his memories.
His son - Ildar Giniyatov, took the same route.
-I grew up in this environment. I studied at the Chistopol Agricultural College, then entered the Agrarian University. Began to help father, working on a combine. In 2010, opened a peasant (farm) economy. Over time, new modern technologies began to be introduced, which paid off - productivity gradually began to increase. The personnel issue is still a problem. We provide a workplace, stable wages, and no one goes to work, ”says Ildar Giniyatov.
To date, the farm has completed all repairs, seed and fertilizer preparation. Harvesting on the farm is good. Funds received from the crop are distributed for the whole year, taking into account the cost of combustible materials, seeds, fertilizers. Farm closely cooperates with scientists throughout the republic. They give useful advices. Support to the household is also provided by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan. All products are taken by private individuals who run their household.
“There always are some difficulties. You just need to be able to overcome them, solve problems, make plans for the future. Now we have experience and knowledge. And most importantly, we work together and love our job, ”says Ildar Giniyatov.
The Giniyatovs are optimistic about the future. Farming has truly become their family affair. When a father and son together put all their strength, energy and love into cultivating the land, there is no doubt that they will succeed. Farmers have great plans: opening production sites and buying a dryer.
