5 million rubles will be allocated to the republican farms for breeding Tatar horses
For the development of the Tatar breed in agricultural enterprises of the republic for 2020, subsidies for the purchase of breeding stock were provided, the total amount is 5 million rubles. This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov during a meeting of the Ministry.
Recall, on February 6, 2019, a patent for horses of the Tatarskaya breed was registered in the state register of protected breeding achievements. The phenomenal endurance of the Tatar horses, capable of being in continuous motion for 7-8 hours, and covering 100-120 km, is also noted by Russian hippological science, speaking also of high fecundity, resistance to heat and cold.
The revival of horses for 8 to 10 years, for example, was carried out by Faris Bakirov, a farmer from the village of Akhmetyevo, Alkeevsky District. A great support was the grant from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, which he received through participation in the state program for the development of family farms.
