The share of agribusiness in the gross production of the republic in 2019 increased to 16%
This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov on February 12 during a meeting of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.
“Recently, special attention has been paid to agriculture. At a meeting of the State Council in December, Russian President Vladimir Putin identified the issues of effective agricultural production and the arrangement of rural territories and their balanced development as key issues. It was noted that without a comprehensive solution, further dynamic development of the agro-industrial complex is no longer possible, ”said the Deputy Prime Minister.
An integrated approach has been used in the republic for a long time. Thanks to this and the support of RT President Rustam Minnikhanov in 2019, Tatarstan once again ranked 4th in the Russian Federation and 1st in the Volga Federal District in terms of the share of gross agricultural output.
Marat Zyabbarov said that over the previous year there was an increase in the share of agribusiness in the republic's GRP from 14.7% of 2018 to 16%. There is an increase in all areas of activity. “In 2019, including the food industry, we produced products worth more than 461 billion rubles,” Marat Zyabbarov reported.
The value of gross agricultural output increased by 3% and amounted to almost 251 billion rubles. Cash revenue grew by 15% and amounted to more than 119 billion rubles. Profit increased by 1 billion rubles and amounted to 9.9 billion rubles. Profitability exceeded 10.5%.
