Today, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan summed up the results of the livestock industry in January 2020. The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, Lenar Garipov.

The event was attended by livestock consultants, heads of breeding services of agricultural and food departments in municipal areas and others.

The head of the department for the development of livestock industries Siren Nigmatzyanov announced the results of the livestock industry in January of this year. In his speech, he focused on issues of milk and meat production, as well as analysis of the operation of farms.

Today, the number of cattle in the republic is 707.8 thousand heads, including cows - 235.3 thousand heads, pigs - 459.2 thousand heads, sheep and goats - 57.3 thousand heads, birds - 16.8 million animals, horses - 18.9 thousand animals.

During the meeting, the leading districts in increasing the number of cattle in January of this year were named. These were Kukmorsky (+959 goals), Baltasinsky (+660), Alekseevsky (+289), Sabinsky (+279), Atninsky (+262), Zelenodolsky (+219 goals), Mendeleevsky (+205 goals), Buinsky (+166) ), Sarmanovsky (+120). The districts allowing the reduction of livestock numbers were made a remark.

In January 2020, agricultural enterprises produced 112.6 thousand tons of milk (106% to last year), 34.6 thousand tons of meat (104%), including 8.2 thousand cattle (grown) tons (102%), pigs - 8.0 thousand tons (115%), poultry - 18.2 thousand tons (101%).

As of February 6, the gross daily milk yield in agricultural enterprises and peasant farms in the republic is 3644.3 tons.

Kukmorsky, Atninsky, Baltasinsky, Sabinsky, Arsky, Aktanyshsky, Mamadyshsky, Aznakaevsky and Nizhnekamsky districts were among the first in milk production. Earlier, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan reported that in the end of January, the Kukmorsky District reached the line of 300 tons for daily milk production. The best dynamics in meat production was shown by Mamadyshsky, Kukmorsky and Alkeevsky districts.

At the end of the speech, Siren Nigmatzyanov named the areas where the average daily gain of cattle is over 726 grams. These were Kukmorsky, Atninsky, Sabinsky, Mamadyshsky, Nizhnekamsky, Baltasinsky, Bugulmi, Tetyushsky, Buinsky, Muslyumovsky Aktanyshsky, Alekseevsky, Zainsky, Drozhzhanovsky and Vysokogorsky districts.

The topics for discussion at the board of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan on February 12-14 were also identified. Deputy Minister Lenar Garipov focused on state support according to the criterion of the Russian Federation - the safety of the number of cows on January 1 of the current financial year to January 1. 1.322 billion rubles were allocated from the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan to increase productivity in dairy cattle breeding.
