The President of Tatarstan met with leaders of Uva-Milk: Udmurt company announced plans to organize the production of cheese in Tatarstan

The President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with the leadership of the Uva-Milk company (Udmurtia) today. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, founder and acting director of Uva-milk LLC, director of Kasymovsky Dairy Plant LLC Alexander Emshanov, executive director of Uva-milk LLC Tatyana Zubareva and others.

Uva-Milk LLC is one of the leading enterprises in Udmurtia for the production and sale of dairy products (more than 150 items). The company owns such brands as Milkovo, Oblachkovo, Tvorozhkovo, Smetankovo, Burkutle (since 2019).

Alexander Emshanov briefly presented data on the operation of the enterprise. At the end of 2019, Uva-Milk LLC processed 256 thousand tons of milk, revenue amounted to 8.2 billion rubles.

In 2019, the company decided to organize the production in the Republic of Tatarstan, since about 30% of the milk for the main production was purchased from republican agricultural producers. For this purpose, processing of 450 tons of milk per day will be organized on the basis of Apastovsky Dairy Plant LLC for the production of 40 tons per day of Dutch type cheese and 24 tons of dry whey per day. To organize this production, it is planned to modernize the enterprise and invest (at the expense of own and borrowed funds) about 700 million rubles. The company will create 81 new jobs.

In addition, milk processing up to 250 tons per day, production of 17 tons per day of soft cheeses, butter and cream up to 5 tons per day will be organized on the basis of LLC Kasymovsky Dairy Plant in the Vysokogorsky District. For the further work of the enterprise, the investor (at the expense of own and borrowed funds) plans to invest 100 million rubles and increase job number at the enterprise from 217 to 311 people.

Uva-Milk also plans to organize cooperatives to establish relations with local milk producers in the Apastovsky and Vysokogorsky districts.
