Today at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan the XXth Congress of the Association of Farmers, Peasant Farmsteads and Agricultural Consumer Cooperatives of Tatarstan was held with the participation of the President of the Association of Peasant Farms and Agricultural Cooperatives of Russia Vladimir Plotnikov, Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, delegates from all regions of the republic and others.
It should be noted that on January 23, 2020 AKKOR Russia celebrated its 30th anniversary, and the Association of Farmers of Tatarstan will celebrate the 30th anniversary in 2021.
The event was opened by the chairman of the Association of Farmers Kamiyar Baitemirov. In his report, he noted that state support measures allow farmers to develop and increase production volumes. “For peasants, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food is one of the main institutions for protecting their rights and interests,” Kamiyar Baitemirov summed up.
As part of the congress, the heads of peasant farms shared their experience, representatives of various organizations spoke about the possibilities and measures of state support. A representative of the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan proposed financial instruments to attract borrowed funds. Mars Khismatullin, director of the FATU MANAGEMENT TATMELIOVODHOZ, spoke about measures to support land reclamation measures, including subsidizing for agricultural producers, and Marcel Tagirov, director of the Tatar Agricultural Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences, informed about the possibilities of acquiring domestic selection seeds and scientific developments. Director of the Kazan Agro-Industrial Park described its cooperation with farmers, mentioning that The company has already presented more than 18 thousand products, and attendance is from 9 to 29 thousand people daily.
During the congress, Marat Zyabbarov announced that measures of state support for small business forms were increased in 2020. “The Agrostartup program made the population interested. This year, the amount of 1 grant was increased to 5 million rubles, and possibly - up to 6 million rubles. In February, we will announce the start of competitions for all programs, ”Marat Zyabbarov drew attention and asked representatives of associations to join in explanatory and informational work with potential applicants.
The President of the Association of Peasant Farms and Agricultural Cooperatives of Russia Vladimir Plotnikov noted the special attitude of the republic’s leadership to agriculture and the systematic support of farmers. “Tatarstan is seriously engaged in cooperation issues. There is a confident move forward. Farmers are becoming competitive, entering retail chains, ”the speaker concluded.
Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov spoke about the formation of small forms of management. “Today, farmers are the foundation of the village. The farmers' movement has a great future, and the issues that we still have to work on are housing and increasing profitability in the countryside, ”concluded the speaker.
All questions and suggestions of the delegates were promptly considered and resolved during the congress, while those requiring detailed study were accepted for consideration in further work.
In the final part of the congress, there was an open vote decided to re-elect Kamiyar Baitemirov to the post of President of the Association of Farmers and to select delegates to the 31st ACCOR congress in Moscow.
