Today, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan summed up the results of the livestock industry for 2019. The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Lenar Garipov.
The event was attended by livestock consultants, heads of breeding services of agricultural and food departments in municipal areas and other responsible persons.
The head of the department for the development of livestock industries Siren Nigmatzyanov presented the results of the livestock industry for 2019. In his speech, he focused on issues of milk and meat production, as well as analysis of the operation of farms.
Today the number of cattle on the territory of the republic is 708.4 thousand heads, including cows - 238 thousand heads, pigs - 444.5 thousand heads, sheep and goats - 54.9 thousand heads, birds - 16.8 million heads, horses - 19.2 thousand heads.
During the meeting, the districts that were leaders in increasing the number of cattle were named. They were Mamadyshsky (+4807 goals), Sabinsky (+2001), Kukmorsky (+1184), Atninsky (+1096), Bugulminsky (+835), Rybno-Slobodsky (+750), Tukaevsky (+600), Baltasinsky (+ 594 goals), Bavlinsky (+329), Tetyushsky (+293) areas. The districts allowing a decrease in the number of livestock were made a remark.
In 2019, agricultural enterprises produced 1350.5 thousand tons of milk (104% compared to last year), 401.8 thousand tons of meat (103%), including 98.8 thousand tons of cattle (grown) (101%), pigs - 92.4 thousand tons (106%), poultry - 208.3 thousand tons (104%).
As of January 10, the gross daily milk yield in agricultural enterprises and peasant farms of the republic is 3,520.8 tons.
In milk production, Baltasinsky, Atninsky, Kukmorsky, Nizhnekamsky, Alekseevsky, Aktanyshsky and Sabinsky districts werethe best. The best dynamics in meat production was shown by the Cheremshansky, Mamadyshsky and Vysokogorsky districts.
At the end of the speech, Siren Nigmatzyanov named the areas where the average daily gain of cattle is over 750 grams. They became Kukmorsky, Atninsky, Sabinsky, Nizhnekamsky, Mamadyshsky, Baltasinsky, Aktanyshsky, Alekseevsky and Sarmanovsky districts.
At the end of the meeting, Deputy Minister Lenar Garipov focused on the safety of the livestock, increasing the offspring of calves and increasing the productivity of cows.
