Marat Zyabbarov estimated the work of New Year's agricultural fairs in Kazan

If for most of the townspeople today is a working day, then for the specialists of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan, this is also one of the most important days. Today in Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny, the pre-New Year's agricultural fairs are held. While most retail chains increase prices for popular products, then agricultural fairs are always an opportunity to buy all the freshest and most delicious at affordable prices. That is why today at fairs there was a higher demand.

From 7 a.m., the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov began checking the fairs. The first one was the site in the Novo-Savinovsky district on Yamasheva street in front of the Bakhetle hypermarket. Despite the frosty weather, more than 150 points of active trading were placed there. The assortment of products brought by farmers from the Novosheshminsky and Spassky districts delighted with variety. Farmers asked the Minister to continue the work of the fairs in January next year.

Further, the head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan headed to the Aviastroitelny District on the site on Leningradskaya street. Here, farmers from the Vysokogorsky district presented their products. Before 8am 500 liters of draft milk were sold here.

The next site to visit was in the Kirovsky district on Batyrshina street. Farmers of the Drozhzhanovsky district brought meat, fish, milk, butter, honey, sausages, cheese, eggs, vegetables and many other products for the citizens. Marat Zyabbarov asked farmers about plans for the supply of products for next year.

Another fair in the Kirovsky district was in front of the Yagodnaya Sloboda shopping center. Commerce here has been going at a good pace since the very early morning. Of particular interest to buyers were turkeys and geese from the Tetyushsky region. The Deputy Prime Minister also personally talked with farmers who sell products and with buyers.

The last in the morning route of the minister was the site in the Kazan Agro-Industrial Park. Having walked through all the sites and attentively examined each point, Marat Zyabbarov made comments and advised to analyze the needs of the people and the possibilities of farmers, and then make a decision on the further work of the fairs in January 2020.

The fairs were also inspected by heads of districts, heads of agricultural divisions and specialists of the ministry. All products were checked by veterinary services, and guests were greeted with a New Year's concert program.
