Tatarstan President presented “100 Years of TASSR Establishment” award to Honored Agricultural Worker
On December 19, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov took part in a ceremony dedicated to the start of the Year of the 100th anniversary of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. The event was held at the Kazan Expo exhibition center (I. Shakirov Concert Hall).
The 100th anniversary of the founding of the TASSR is the most important period in the history of Tatar people and the entire region, said the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, opening the ceremony.
“Dear participants of the celebration! Today, Tatarstan is an advanced and economically successful region that consistently moves towards building a strong Russia. We are distinguished by a reverent attitude to the past and bold transformations of today. The republic is known in the country and around the world as a region of oil production and oil refining, one of the key players in the petrochemicals, machine and aircraft industries, as a scientific and educational center, as well as one of the leaders in agricultural production, ”said Rustam Minnikhanov.
Then the ceremony of awarding the new state award of the Republic of Tatarstan - “100 years of the founding of the TASSR” took place.
In a festive atmosphere, the award was presented to the honored agricultural worker Damir Kayumov from Tyulyachinsky district. Despite his age, Damir Kayumovich takes an active part in agricultural production and public life of the region.
