The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia noted the leadership of Tatarstan in the daily volume of milk sales among the subjects of the Federation.

As of December 2 of this year, the volume of milk sold in the country by agricultural organizations amounted to 44.1 thousand tons. This is 8.1% more than in 2018.

The maximum milk sales per day was achieved by Krasnodar Territory, Voronezh, Kirov, Sverdlovsk, Leningrad, Belgorod, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Nizhny Novgorod and Vologda Regions, the Republics of Udmurtia and Bashkortostan, and the Altai Territory .

According to operational data from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan, as of December 11, 2019, agricultural enterprises and peasant farms have sold 3,267.9 tons of milk. This is 209.6 tons or 7% more than last year.

At the same time, the average daily milk yield per cow in the republic increased by 0.9 kg compared to the same period last year and settled to 14.7 kg.

As previously reported, the gross milk yield in agricultural enterprises in January - November of this year reached 1 million 239.4 thousand tons, which is 4% more than the figure for the same period of 2018.
