The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan summed up the livestock for 11 months: the leaders in increasing the number of cattle were Mamadyshsky, Sabinsky and Baltasinsky districts
Today, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan summed up the results of the livestock industry for 11 months of 2019. The meeting was held by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Lenar Garipov.
The event was attended by livestock consultants, heads of breeding and breeding services of agricultural and food departments in municipal areas and other responsible persons.
Lenar Garipov announced the results of the livestock industry over 11 months. In his speech, he focused on issues of milk and meat production, as well as analysis of the operation of farms.
Today the number of cattle on the territory of the republic is 707.7 thousand heads, including cows - 239.4 thousand heads, pigs - 453 thousand heads, sheep and goats - 53 thousand heads, poultry - 15, 2 million heads, horses - 19.4 thousand heads.
During the meeting, the districts that were leaders in increasing the number of cattle for 11 months of the current year were named. These were Mamadyshsky (+4287 goals), Sabinsky (+1878), Baltasinsky (+1187), Atninsky (+793), Bugulminsky (+782), Rybno-Slobodsky (+542), Bavlinsky (+389), Tukaevsky (+ 300), Tetyushsky (+221) and Kukmorsky (+179) areas. The districts allowing a decrease in the number of livestock received a notice.
Over 11 months of this year, agricultural enterprises produced 1239 thousand tons of milk (104% in relation to last year), 365.6 thousand tons of meat (103%), including 89.3 thousand tons of cattle (grown) (99%), pigs - 84.2 thousand tons (106%), poultry - 190.1 thousand tons (103%).
As of December 10, in the republic, the gross daily milk yield in agricultural enterprises and peasant farms is 3427.4 tons.
Among milk production, Baltasinsky, Atninsky, Nizhnekamsky, Kukmorsky, Alekseevsky, Aktanyshsky and Sabinsky districts were among the first. Vysokogorsky, Mamadyshsky and Kukmorsky districts showed the best dynamics in meat production.
At the end of the speech, Lenar Garipov named the areas where the average daily gain of cattle is below 650 grams. These were Almetyevsky, Agryzsky Chistopolsky, Kamsko-Ustinsky, Laishevsky, Kaybitsky, Apastovsky and Verkhne-Uslonsky areas.
In addition, the meeting summed up the reproduction of cattle. The organization of this work was reported by the head of the State Public Institution "State Pedagogical University of Breeding in Livestock Breeding of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan" Rishat Zaripov.
At the end of the meeting, representatives of the districts were urged to take part in round tables organized by the Union of Dairy Producers of Tatarstan.
