On December 5, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov met with a delegation from the federal state of Thuringia (Germany) led by Director General of the Thuringian Economic Development Agency Andreas Krai.
The representative delegation of Thuringia has been in Kazan on a working visit for the second time. During the visit of the delegation in May of this year, the guests were told about the potential of the Tatarstan agro-industrial complex.
During the meeting held on December 5 at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan, German companies briefly described the conditions of agriculture in Thuringia. Guzel Shaikhullina, Plenipotentiary of the Thuringian Economy in Russia, explained that close cooperation has been established between Thuringia and Russia. So, the comprehensive line of Petkus technological solutions was implemented for Miratorg and EkoNiva enterprises. It is planned to implement a joint project with Agrosila in the grain breeding, the ultimate goal of which is the preparation of world-class seeds.
The representative of IBYKUS Michael Erdmann spoke about the company's capabilities in the field of digitalization of agriculture and presented software solutions for issuing state support in electronic form, the ELSA agricultural management system, the system for determining crops and other indicators using artificial intelligence in a KIRA raster image and the enterprise management system based on the technology of the Internet of things and big data.
The Ibicus company was founded in 1990, today the annual turnover is more than 30 million euros, more than 1000 clients in the field of industry and about 5000 in the field of agriculture are served. The company representative explained that the plans are to find common ground and establish cooperation with Tatarstan.
Marat Zyabbarov expressed interest in developing a number of software products based on pilot enterprises of the republic. “Digitalization in agriculture today requires a lot of attention. We are working to implement effective tools for analysis and management of various processes, ”said the Deputy Prime Minister and invited the company to present the existing developments at the Volga Agro-Industrial Forum, which will be held in Kazan in February 2020.
During the meeting, a number of agreements were reached, including the identification of pilot enterprises of the republic for the implementation of suitable software products. It is assumed that the business negotiations of the parties will continue in January 2020 as part of the Green Week exhibition in Berlin.
