President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met today with leaders of JFR Co. Ltd (Japan) and Syngen Biotech. The meeting was held in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan with the participation of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov. It was also attended by the founder, CEO of JFR Co. Ltd Hiroshi Miyazaki, Development Director JFR Co. Ltd. Nobumitsu Akai, Executive Director of a subsidiary of JFR Co. Ltd. in Russia Ruslan Naumov and others.
During the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov thanked for the interest to cooperate with Tatarstan. For Tatarstan it is important to develop the cooperation with Japan in the framework of Russian-Japanese relations.
He also recalled that the region has been cooperating with Japan in various fields for years. Thus, the technologies and capitals of many Japanese companies were used in the construction of petrochemical plants in Tatarstan, the development of health care and agriculture, and the country's informatization industry.
During the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov also noted that JFR Co. Ltd is an international biotechnology company, that is advanced in the development and production of probiotics for animals and people, the production of sewage treatment systems for livestock buildings, technologies for increasing the digestibility of feeds with a high protein content, etc.
Recall that this is the third visit of Japanese companies to our republic this year. During previous visits to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan, the prospects of cooperation between Tatarstan and Japan in the field of agriculture were discussed, a memorandum of cooperation was created with KFU, in addition, it was assumed that JF Ar will open its first Russian office in Kazan.
According to Rustam Minnikhanov, it is especially important that the company considers Tatarstan as a platform for further localization of products. “There are many sites in our republic where you can organize your production,” Rustam Minnikhanov said. - I was informed that the prior is the SEZ “Alabuga” with its infrastructure and available preferences.
