Talgat Tagirzyanov as part of the official delegation from Tatarstan visited the Tashkent Agricultural Machinery Plant

Talgat Tagirzyanov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, visited today the agricultural machinery factory in Tashkent.

Recall that the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan, headed by the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, is on a two-day working visit to Uzbekistan.

Agricultural machinery factory in Tashkent produces various modifications of tractors, trailers and cotton-picking machines. The production of the plant is in demand on the domestic market and occupies more than 80% of the market of Uzbekistan. Currently, UzAvtosanoat JSC (Uzavtoprom) is considering the distribution of agricultural equipment through dealer networks abroad or the creation of trading centers with the possibility of creating assembly plants. In 2018, the plant produced 11.5 thousand units of various modifications of agricultural machinery.

According to the representatives of the delegation of Tatarstan, agricultural production takes a significant place in the economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan. For timely sowing, harvesting, transportation and high-quality production of agricultural products for the agricultural sector, modern and high-performing agricultural equipment is required. High-quality agricultural machinery is in demand and is supplied to neighboring countries with similar climatic and environmental conditions. The main consumers of the manufactured equipment are local farms and agricultural producers of Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and others.
