Ministry of Agriculture will improve Grant Support Tools for Family Farms
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan informs that by the state program for the development of agriculture, from 2020, some rules for providing support to family livestock farms will change.
The main innovation will be a change in the conditions for creating jobs in the farms of grantees: if the farmer had previously committed to create jobs in the year the grant was received, then from 2020 he will be able to independently determine this period during the period of use of funds received from the state. For family farms, it is two years.
Also, since 2020, it is planned to give the family farm the right to implement projects in crop production, and the maximum number of sheep and goats planned for breeding will increase to 500 heads.
A new direction in the use of grant funds for all categories of recipients will be the ability to send a grant to pay part of the cost of the project, which is implemented with the help of a preferential investment loan. To introduce this mechanism, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation together with credit organizations and industry unions is developing standard projects for the development of farms and cooperatives. Their implementation will increase the effectiveness and profitability of grantees.
