The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan invites citizens to buy products for the festive table at agricultural markets

On Saturday, November 23, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan invites residents of the republic to purchase agricultural products at affordable prices at fairs in Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny and in the village of Oktyabrsky Zelenodolsky District (the Novaya Tura trade and fair complex). Citizens will be able to purchase meat, sausage products, draft milk, cheese, butter, eggs, vegetables, honey, sugar, flour, cereals and other farm products brought from the municipal regions of Tatarstan.

The assortment at various sites has its own characteristics, and is tailored to the needs of residents. So, in Moscow you can buy French cheeses “Camembert” and “Brie”, as well as the famous “Halumi” cheese. All of them are now produced in Tatarstan. For many citizens, it has already become a family tradition to go to fairs on Saturdays, and some are already preparing for the New Year and other family celebrations, they are acquiring a turkey, goose and duck for the festive table. According to the results of 5 spring and 10 autumn fairs of 2019, in the cities of Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny and Zelenodolsk municipal district of Tatarstan, products were imported and sold for a total amount of 907.1 million rubles. Citizens purchased 1.4 thousand tons of meat, 12.1 thousand tons of vegetables and potatoes, 342 tons of draft milk, 6.9 million eggs, 606 tons of flour and 687 tons of granulated sugar.
