15 November 2019, Friday

Chairman of the Council of the Central Union of the Russian Federation Dmitry Zubov and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov visited the Alekseevsky district, where they held a meeting on the development of consumer cooperation in rural areas.

The Chairman of the Board of the Tatpotrebsoyuz Rashat Shaimardanov demonstrated to Dmitry Lvovich and Marat Azatovich the work of the existing modular type store in the village of Levashovo and its car shop. Today, thanks to the republican target program “Village Shop”, more than a hundred stationary trading points operate in the regions of the republic. Next year, another 20 modular stores will be created.

Such trade formats are able to satisfy consumer demand at a decent level, outlets offer consumers the quality products at affordable prices. In turn, the cooperators, thanks to state support, well-organized business processes and a great attitude to the interests and needs of the population, were able to turn socially-oriented projects into profitable ones, while maintaining the humanitarian mission.

“Half of the shops are working profitably,” said Chairman of the Board of Tatpotrebsoyuz Rashat Shaimardanov. "This is a high indicator, since the auto-shop project is socially oriented, it is being implemented to help the population, and not for profit," Rashat Rivkatovich emphasized.

The number of auto shops operating in Tatarstan serving remote settlements is increasing every year. This has become possible thanks to the special program “On measures of state support for the agro-industrial complex at the expense of the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan”, by which consumer companies acquire new equipment to serve the population on favorable terms. Now 180 cars are operating in the region and supply the necessary goods to 864 villages.
