The WorldSkills regional championship of the “Operation of agricultural machines” competency kicked off at Sarmanovsky College

Today at the Sarman Agrarian College the Regional Championship of the Republic of Tatarstan “Young Professionals” (WorldSkills Russia) started - the championship cycle of 2019/2020 in the competence supervised by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan - “Operation of agricultural machines”.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Talgat Tagirzyanov, the head of the Sarmanovsky region Farit Khusnullin, the international expert on the competence “Operation of agricultural machines”, the teacher of special disciplines of Agrarian and Industrial College Valeryi Kirsanov, the deputy head of the Executive Committee of the Sarmanovsk Municipal District for Social Affairs Indira Sakhipova, Head of the Department of Agriculture and Food in Sarmanovsk Albert Sharipov, head of the sector of mechanization of livestock and energy facilities of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan Nail Aliullov and others.

Participants noted the good placement, excellent preparedness of the institution and the organization of competitions. TPK MTZ - Tatarstan LLC, peasant farm "Nazmutdinov A.Z", JSC "Agrosila" assisted in the technical equipment of the competition.

“Over the past decades, the profession of a machine operator, the requirements for it have changed a lot,” said Talgat Tagirzyanov, “the technology has become science-intensive, a lot of electronics, the control of mechanisms is computerized, and their operation requires wide knowledges and skills. The prestige of the machine operator profession is growing every year, its role in the agricultural production chain is huge. Today the best of the best compete here. I wish you all success and new victories! ”

Participants from 5 educational institutions - winners of the network stage will compete for 3 days in 5 three-hour modules: "Electrical Equipment and Electronics", "Engine", "Mechanical Drive", "Hydraulics", "Arable Equipment Assembly".

In the previous two days, organizational and preparatory work was carried out: experts and participants familiarized themselves with the competition site, conducted a demonstration of the work, and explained the features of the tasks. The experts were trained: an installation seminar was held on a competitive assignment, they got acquainted with the code of ethics. They made changes and approved the competition task, studied the evaluation criteria and principles of scoring, formed jury groups and briefed the volunteers of the competition. Then everyone underwent training on labor protection, actions in case of fire and emergency.

The results will be summed up on Saturday November 16 and announced at the closing ceremony.
