Today, Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny hosted fairs for the sale of agricultural products organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. Agricultural products were brought by agricultural producers and agricultural enterprises from the municipal regions of the republic.
Despite the cold weather and drizzling rain, trade began from the very early morning, and by 6 a.m. was already in full swing. Buyers loaded sugar, flour, meat, fish, milk, butter, honey, sausages, cheese, eggs, potatoes, vegetables and much more into bags and trolleys - all at affordable prices. Opportunities to realize the grown products were welcomed by the farmers. The fairs were inspected by the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nail Zalakov, deputy ministers, heads of municipal districts and heads of agricultural divisions and specialists of the ministry. They got acquainted with the range of products presented and their prices, talked with farmers and buyers. In addition, all products have been checked by veterinary services.
Agricultural fairs are traditionally enjoyed by citizens, especially the older generation, in good demand and are of great social importance. Each site was distinguished by its own characteristics. On Yamasheva street, one could buy fresh fragrant raspberries grown by a farmer from the Kaybitsky district. On Victory Avenue Zelenodolsky champignons were snapped, and in the Agropark one could even buy chickens, geese and rabbits of different breeds for breeding.
“We live in Kazan in the private sector. We always bought only village meat, milk and eggs at fairs, but recently we started to keep chickens themselves. Why not? The case is not troublesome. But I’m 100% sure of the quality, ”said the young woman, smartly folding the purchased pies into a box.
It is worth noting that the earliest buyers at fairs are, of course, older people. They arrive already from 5 in the morning, and the weather is getting colder every day, that's why tea tables with pastries were organized on the sites, and a real pilaf was prepared in the cauldron.
Buyers noted that fairs became a real holiday for the soul, with a concert program and a sincere friendly and attentive attitude to each buyer.
Organizing fairs requires a lot of work. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Technologies of the Republic of Tatarstan treats them with great responsibility and the organization of such socially significant events will continue.
Waiting for buyers at the agricultural fair next Saturday!
