Agricultural fairs: Attentive and friendly attitude to each buyer

12 October 2019, Saturday

Today, Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny hosted fairs for the sale of agricultural products organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. Agricultural products were brought by agricultural producers from the municipal regions of the republic, as well as agricultural enterprises.

Agricultural fairs are traditionally enjoyed by citizens, especially the older generation, in good demand and are of great social importance. Here you can buy products such as meat, fish, milk, butter, honey, sausages, cheese, eggs, potatoes, vegetables, granulated sugar, flour, etc. at affordable prices. Halal products were also presented.

Each site was distinguished by its own characteristics. If the first buyers started coming to Batyrshin from 4a.m., and closer to six - agricultural products were already snapped up, then near the Salavat Cooper residential complex active trade began only at half past seven in the morning. Demand for products was also different everywhere, somewhere in the first place they bought up grain, and somewhere dairy products and vegetables. Sugar and flour were good at some sites, and potato, meat and fish were especially in demand at others. So, on Victory Avenue, for example, champignons grown in Zelenodolsky district were in high demand.

This time, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan prepared another highlight. From 7 a.m. in the Agropark, visitors were greeted by a fair prepared by the educational institutions of Tatarstan. Each of the 43 districts presents its own exhibition together with colleges and technical schools, as well as other interested enterprises and organizations (schools, institutions of additional education). Citizens had the opportunity to purchase decorative arts products, canned and fruit and vegetable products grown by students in the adjacent territories. Also, visitors could buy crafts of young architects, joiners, blacksmiths and forging craftsmen.

The fairs were inspected by the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nikolay Titov, deputy ministers, heads of municipal districts and heads of agricultural divisions and specialists of the ministry. They got acquainted with the range of products presented and their prices. In addition, all products have been checked by veterinary services.

Buyers noted that fairs were not only a great opportunity to purchase environmentally friendly farm products of local production, but also a real holiday for the soul, with a concert program and a sincere friendly and attentive attitude to each buyer.

Many customers left with full bags of products and said warm words of gratitude for organizing fairs. The opportunity to sell their own products was welcomed by farmers. “It is certainly nice to hear words of gratitude for your work,” say employees of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan, who have been meeting farmers at the site since night, setting up tents, price tags, etc.

Organizing fairs requires a lot of work. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Technologies of the Republic of Tatarstan treats them with great responsibility and the organization of such socially significant events will continue.

Waiting for buyers at the agricultural fair next Saturday!
