The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the State Television and Radio Company “Tatarstan” summed up the results of the “Praise the Man of Labor” contest
On October 11, the winner of the eleventh republican television contest for young combine harvesters “Praise the Man of Labor” was determined. The final was held in the Alekseevsky district of Tatarstan. The competition was organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan and the State Television and Radio Company “Tatarstan”.
The day before, the 15 best young combine harvesters at the Alekseevsky Agrarian College showed their skills in the theoretical and practical part of the competition. According to the results, the jury recognized Peter Zaitsev from the Alekseevskoye National Enterprise as the winner of the young combine operator.
It is significant that it was in Alekseevsky 11 years ago that this competition of young combine harvesters started. As Peter admitted, experience and knowledge helped him defeat. The young man plans to graduate from the University this year and go serve in the army. The second place in the competition was taken by Ilshat Nafikov from the Arsky district, and the third - Rustam Mukhametdinov from the Zainsky district.
“The main objective of the action is to popularize working specialties in the countryside among young people. During the contest, Russia-1 and Russia-24 TV channels released a series of stories about how young combine harvesters reap the harvest of 2019”, said Nail Hamidullin, head of the department of science, education and innovative technologies of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.
