28 September 2019, Saturday

If for most citizens, Saturday is a legal day off and an opportunity to get enough sleep, then for the leadership and specialists of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan this is one of the most important days. On Saturdays, traditional agricultural fairs are organized. For farmers - this is a good opportunity to sell their products, and for citizens - to buy all the most necessary and fresh in one place and at affordable prices.

From 6 a.m., the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov went through the fairs. The first point was a site in the Kirovsky region in front of the Yagodnaya Sloboda shopping center. Despite the early morning, it was very lively. Farmers from the Kama-Ustyinsky district brought a large assortment of various products. At 50 outlets you could find meat, fish, milk, butter, honey, sausages, cheese, eggs, potatoes, vegetables, berries, granulated sugar, flour and even grapes grown in Tatarstan, and French Camembert cheeses, of course locally produced - all at affordable prices.

Further, the head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan headed to the Novo-Savinovsky district on the site along Yamasheva street. There was already active trading at 168 points. The product range pleased with variety, and customers busily picked up the freshest farm products. Of particular interest to buyers were the impressive carcasses of turkey, mushrooms, “funky cucumbers” and aromatic raspberries.

Marat Zyabbarov personally talked with farmers who sell products, inquired about the results of trade and development prospects. The appearance of the minister at the sites aroused keen interest of the population. The most daring also did not miss the opportunity to talk in person.

Walking through the sites and attentively examining each point, Marat Zyabbarov noted the good organization of the fairs. “To study the needs of citizens at each site there are specialized boxes. Everyone can write their wishes and what products are missing. We will try to bring everything they need next week, ”the minister said.

The fairs were also inspected by the deputy ministers of agriculture and food of the Republic of Tatarstan, heads of municipal districts, heads of agro-industrial complex divisions and specialists of the ministry. All products have been checked by veterinary services.

Organizing fairs requires a lot of work. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan treats them with great responsibility and the organization of such socially significant events will continue.

Waiting for buyers at the agricultural fair next Saturday!
