Exhibition of achievements of wine growers was held in Tatarstan
September 15 was the annual exhibition of achievements of winegrowers of Tatarstan. "Isabella", "Libya", "Muscat", "Svetlana" and dozens of the most diverse varieties of grapes that are grown in the climatic conditions of the Middle Volga region were presented in Kazan. The exhibition was held for the tenth time, and wine growers from all over the republic gathered there.
The organizers of the exhibition, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan and the leadership of the Kazan Agrarian University welcomed the guests.
The guests were able to not only taste the fruits, but also get advice on growing seedlings. Vine growers shared the features of cultivation and care, providing an opportunity not only to try this year's crop, but also to purchase cuttings of favorite varieties.
Gardeners noted that the weather did not please them this year, some grape varieties did not survive at all. However, they still managed to surprise with the fruits of Kazan. Amateur gardeners presented more than eight dozen grape varieties. All fruits are grown on family farms, each of them has its own unique taste. For example, one of the varieties has hints of sage, the other - hints of strawberries or nutmeg.

Also, the exhibition presented a variety of products of the Center for Landscape Design of Kazan Agrarian University.
