Marat Akhmetov: KazGAU and KGAVM named after N.E. Bauman - these are locomotives providing the agricultural sector with highly qualified personnel

Today, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov congratulated students of agricultural universities on the start of a new academic year.

Opening the solemn line at the Kazan State Academy of Veterinary Medicine named after N.E. Bauman, Marat Akhmetov remembered his student years at the university, and noted the dynamic development of the institution, the opportunities offered to students, including internships abroad, as well as the demand for graduates in the labor market. “Automation of production is growing every year, but the sense is still is at reliable hands of veterinarians,” the minister added.

Congratulating students of Kazan Agrarian University on Knowledge Day, Marat Akhmetov noted: “In Tatarstan, two agricultural universities - Kazan Agrarian University and the Veterinary Academy - are main institutions that provide the agricultural sector of Tatarstan with highly qualified personnel, science and innovation.”

The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that growing bread is a demanded and honorable task, it is a grateful work and having entered the Kazan State Agrarian University, freshmen chose a worthy fate for the benefit of their native republic and country.

At the end of the speech, Marat Akhmetov handed on behalf of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan diplomas and letters of appreciation to students and university professors.
