Marat Akhmetov: Tatarstan crops were removed from 26% of the area

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov reported on the progress of grain harvesting in the fields of Tatarstan today at a meeting in the Government House.

The meeting in the mode of videoconferencing was held by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Nigmatullin.

The head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan said that today 377 thousand hectares of land has been removed in the republic - this is 26%. 1.2 million tons of grain were harvested. The average yield is 31.8 centners per hectare.

Alkeevsky district has already harvested 43.6% of the fields, in Zainsky district - 39.8%, Nurlatsky - 39.2%. The leaders in productivity are Zainsky (47 kg / ha), Menzelinsky, Mamadyshsky, Tukaevsky (42 kg / ha each), Tetyushsky, Sarmanovsky districts (40 kg / ha each).

However, due to heavy rainfall and strong winds, farms suffer losses. Marat Akhmetov called on farmers to increase the pace of harvesting. The minister added that in almost all areas incentive measures have been developed for workers in the cleaning complex.

Marat Akhmetov reminded that today preparations for winter sowing are underway. The Minister drew attention to the fact that by September 5, all sowing work must be completed.
