News from the fields: Zainsky agrarians are among the leaders in productivity
According to current information from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Zainsky district is among the leaders among the municipalities of Tatarstan in terms of yield of both winter and spring crops.
Combines have been working in the fields of Zainsky district for more than ten days. “It's just that the rains are a little upset - they drag out the harvesting campaign,” say the farmers.
“But it will not rain forever. Clear days will come anyway, and we will finish harvesting in time” experienced mechanic Akhnaf Hamidullin enters into conversation. He has been at the helm of the combine for over thirty years and has plowed golden wheat and barley fields.
Akhnaf Khamidullin, with his young partner Rinaz Zakirov (the first year working on harvesting) and with four crews working on New Holland and Klass combine harvesters, harvested winter wheat on 103 hectares in one of the fields of the Aksarino production complex . Harvesting was also completed on 151 hectares of the field of the Savaleevo industrial complex, where Grigory Butyaev, who has been working in the agricultural industry for a little over ten years, participated in the harvesting of winter wheat. In 2018, he achieved high rates in the harvesting of grain crops and became the winner of the republican contest "Best Combine Harvester". From this year, he was entrusted with one of the fifteen new harvesters of the Torum brand.
“Seven Torums work in this field. We like new cars: they have a large header - nine meters and a good bunker capacity - eight tons. We are moving at a minimum speed - up to three kilometers per hour, in order to minimize grain loss”, says Grigory Butyaev.
According to the Department of Agriculture and Food, in the Zain district this year, the total sown area is about 70 thousand hectares, almost 40 thousand hectares of which are grain crops. Farmers will have to harvest winter wheat on 16,200 hectares, as well as spring crops - wheat on 5,600 hectares and barley on 16,100 hectares.
According to operational information from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, as of August 1, 6198 hectares in Zainsky district of winter wheat were threshed, 28,472 tons of grain, the average yield was 45.9 centners per hectare. In addition, 985 hectares of barley were threshed, 4433 tons of grain, the average yield was 45 centners per hectare.
On the fields of Zainsky district, 60 combines are involved in harvesting winter and spring crops, 15 of which are new “Torums”. The course of the harvesting campaign is constantly monitored. Ildus Gabdrakhmanov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in the detour of agricultural enterprises.
“Your district is one of the first in the republic to start harvesting crops annually,” Ildus Gabdrakhmanov noted.
