Zonal workshops on the organization of harvesting work began in Tatarstan
Zonal seminars on the organization of harvesting, winter crops sowing, basic tillage, and backfilling seeds, under the guidance of Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildus Gabdrakhmanov and Talgat Tagirzyanov, started this week in Tatarstan. Heads of districts, heads of departments of agriculture and food, specialists of the Agricultural Center of Tatarstan, heads of agricultural enterprises and peasant farms, as well as agronomists of farms take part in the seminars.
The first seminar was held on July 23 in Tetyushsky district. During the event, guests learnt about the results of competitive testing of 105 varieties and hybrids of grain crops and sugar beet. Then the participants examined the expositions of the partner companies and studied the approaches to multiple depth tillage. The exposition included 56 units of modern high-performing equipment.
The second seminar was held today in Chistopolsky district. During the event, farmers discussed the tactics of harvesting in 2019 and the characteristics of winter sowing this year in terms of the selection of varieties, seed preparation and soil preparation. They also visited the machinery exhibition.
Tomorrow, on July 25, the seminar will be held in the Aktanysh district, and on July 26 and 30 it will continue in the Arsk and Kukmorsky districts of Tatarstan. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan invites agronomists of farms and all interested persons to participate in the event.
