7 districts of Tatarstan entered the harvest campaign of 2019

This was announced today by the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, Nikolay Titov, during a meeting with regions of the republic. Zainsky district started harvesting winter wheat, Buinsky started harvesting peas, and Aznakaevsky, Aksubayevsky, Apastovsky and Nurlatsky started harvesting barley. In total, around 4,000 tons have already been milled in the republic, the average yield is 36.5 c / ha.

“Every day new (mainly southern) regions of Tatarstan will be going out for cleaning. Harvesting campaign and grain prices are at the closest control of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. Today, the price situation indicates the demand for grain in the market. Bakery enterprises are ready to load the harvest in 2019”, Nikolai Titov said.

Also during the meeting, the first deputy minister asked to pay special attention to the harvesting of rye, which is expected to yield 230 thousand tons due to the loss of winter crops.

In addition, Nikolai Titov discussed the technology of canning flattened grain into polymer hoses, noting that this is an effective method of preparing high-quality food, the most relevant for areas with developed animal husbandry.

At the end of the event, Nikolay Titov announced the decision taken in the republic on dating of rye. When selling grain to the regional food fund, agricultural producers will be subsidized with 1.5 thousand rubles per 1 ton of food rye. Documents on this decision are being prepared and will soon be brought to the districts. Nikolay Titov asked to inform all agricultural producers about the planned subsidies.
