In the first half of 2019 in Tatarstan is marked an increase in the production of milk and meat

In the first half of 2019, Tatarstan’s agricultural enterprises increased livestock production. In January-June of the current year, in the republic, in agricultural organizations and peasant farms, 670.9 thousand tons of milk have been produced, 200.1 thousand tons of cattle and poultry meat. The increase was 4% and 2%, respectively to the same period of last year. At the same time, 49.2 thousand tons of krs meat(99%) was produced, 44.7 thousand tons (105%) of pork, 105.0 thousand tons of poultry (102%).

There is an increase in milk production of dairy stock. “The average milk yield per cow reached 2 thousand 896 kg, which is 5% higher than in the same period last year,” said Irek Gibadullin, deputy head of the department for the development of livestock industries.

Some municipal districts significantly improved the dynamics of livestock production. Thus, according to the ministry's data, in January-June 2019 in the agricultural units of the Baltasinsky district 43 thousand 27 tons of milk were produced, that is 114% compared to the figure for the corresponding period last year. Nizhnekamsky- 146 tons (111%), Kukmorsky - 48 thousand 141 tons (109%), Aktanyshsky - 31 thousand 840 tons (109%), Alkeevsky district - 31 thousand 117 tons (109%).

A number of municipalities demonstrate a positive trend in meat production. For example, in the Vysokogorsky district in the first half of this year, 1 thousand 348 tons of meat was produced - this is 135% of the figure for the same period last year, in Mamadysh - 2 thousand 664 tons (119%), Kukmorsky - 3 thousand 389 tons (110%).

According to operational data, on July 15, about 4 thousand tons of milk was produced in the republic’s agricultural units per day, which is 141.1 tons or 3.7% more than the same date last year. At the same time, 4.5 thousand tons of milk is sold per day - by 186.2 tons or 4% more than a year earlier.
