Marat Akhmetov reported on work with small farms in rural areas
The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov reported at a meeting at the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan about the work carried out with small forms of rural management.
The meeting was held in the form of video conferencing with all municipal districts by President of Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
In general, according to Marat Akhmetov, there is a positive dynamics of development with a slight decrease in production in personal subsidiary farms. In the republic, for the year, products were produced for one compound on average by 276 thousand rubles. At the same time, indicators between districts differ by a factor of several. Who has indicators lower than the republican ones has a subject for reviewing work with personal subsidiary farms, Marat Akhmetov said.
In the republic, support of private farms is traditionally carried out for the preservation of cows (starting from this year, it is allocated together with veterinary services). Other popular types of support are the construction of mini-farms, the purchase of heifers and poultry.
Aktanyshsky, Arsky, Mamadyshsky, Buinsky, Baltasinsky, Kukmorsky, Rybno-Slobodsky, Sabinsky, Tukayevsky districts are actively participating in the programs. The catalyst for the development of private farms are also reasonable purchase prices for agricultural products.
According to Marat Akhmetov, milk prices today amount to 17.6 rubles in the republic, a decrease of 24 kopecks per month. At a high price, milk is purchased from the population of Baltasinsky, Buinsky, Cheremshansky districts, and their price has increased over the past month. According to the minister, prices in the Tukaevsky, Bavlinsky, Drozhzhanovsky, Zelenodolsky, Zainsky, Menzelinsky districts remain unacceptably low.
In recent years, farms have been developing dynamically, annually increasing by 15–20% in gross output.
The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan, in cooperation with the Farmers Association, will work even more actively to improve the farming culture, Marat Akhmetov also noted.
Thanks to grant support programs, the number of livestock among farmers in all types of livestock has doubled (with the exception of pig breeding), poultry - almost tripled (from 800 thousand to 2.1 million heads)
The minister also said that the cash proceeds from the sale of livestock products increased more than threefold, this year it comes with an increase of 28%.
“Kukmor and Aksubaevo increased the number of cattle from farmers by 2018 more than 2 times, but in a number of areas we have livestock reduced,” said Marat Akhmetov.
He said that this year after the competitions held, 600 million rubles were allocated as grants received by 135 KFH.
“The participation of districts in competitions is the most different,” the minister said. From 12 participants it falls to zero. According to the announced projects, it is planned to increase the number of cows by 2.4 thousand, cattle for fattening - 2.8 thousand, birds - over 1.5 million heads and other living creatures, 340 jobs will be created additionally. ”
Marat Akhmetov noted that it is necessary to significantly strengthen the work on the organization of sales of products of the population, the development of cooperatives.
The republican program of support for novice cooperatives has been working for the second year, grants for 75 million rubles this year were won by 16 cooperatives.
According to the results of selective monitoring of the anti-corruption Directorate, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan intensified work on problem cooperatives - grantees, because it is important that all projects work and benefit the republic.
“It is important that people really are involved in cooperation, solve the problem of product sales, and regulate purchase prices,” said Marat Akhmetov.
According to him, there is a positive cooperative experience in the republic in the Rybno-Slobodsky, Muslyumovsky, Laishevsky, Sabinsky, Cheremshansky districts.
It is expected that, according to special programs, other farmers will be trained and their experience would spread throughout the republic.
Marat Akhmetov also reminded that in August, with the invitation of the heads of rural settlements and heads of districts, it is planned to hold seminar-conferences in four districts of the republic - Tyulyachi, Aksubayevo, Zelenodolsk, Tukaevsky district.
