Exports of agricultural products were discussed in terms of the business program of the Field Day in Tatarstan - 2019

Today, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, Nikolay Titov, held a discussion with agricultural producers on the development of export of the agro-industrial complex of the republic.

Opening the round table, Nikolay Titov noted: “The development of exports of agricultural products of the republic is a matter of our daily attention. Together with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Passport of the regional project “Export Development in the Republic of Tatarstan for the period 2019-2024” was approved, the targets were set for increasing the export of agro-industrial complex products to $ 360 million by 2024.

The round table gathered agricultural producers interested in exporting their products and specialists in this area from the Russian Expert Center, the Export Corporation of the Republic of Tatarstan, etc. The parties shared their expert opinions, work experience and asked questions.

The representitive of the Export Corporation of the Republic of Tatarstan Arthur Kuramshin told about the company's readiness to take on all the organizational issues for concluding the first export transaction for the republic’s producers, and also help with the paperwork, noting that export transactions have their own characteristics and many manufacturers are not aware of all the nuances.

Anvar Mavlanov, an expert on the export of products of the agro-industrial complex of RATSIN JSC, announced his readiness to provide agricultural support in promoting products to foreign markets.

The representative of the Russian expert center Andrey Zaitsev, spoke about the instruments of deferred payment, insurance and compensation for damages, also expressing his readiness to provide support to farmers.

The lively discussion of the round table participants was caused by the topics of profitability of export transactions, VAT refund, delivery volume, product certification, maintaining accounts for foreign economic activity and measures of state support.

“They certainly contribute to the promotion of products, but we need to unite our efforts and create agricultural cooperation.” This will increase its competitiveness and ensure the systematic export of products, ”said Nikolai Titov at the end of the event.
