On June 1, within the events on the theme “Know your native land,” specialists from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan visited the Tetyushsky and Kamsko-Ustyinsky districts.
At the entrance to the town of Tetyushi, the guests were greeted by a steward with bread and salt. Passing through the historic center of the city, the civil servants stopped by Mount Vshikha. Near the observation tower, which was built to show that the northern boundary of the city passed here in the 9th-14th centuries, the guests were greeted by archers and a folklore ensemble in folk costumes.
After visiting the Trinity Cathedral, the excursion continued at the Museum of History of Tetyushi, which is located in the former mansion of merchant P.V.Serebryakov, built in 1870. There was a variety of collections, objects and documents reflecting the history of the city.
Having tasted the “treats of the merchant P.V. Serebryakov”, the staff of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan visited the Museum of the History of Fisheries. In front of the entrance to the museum there is a giant Beluga monument, fish caught in the Volga River near the town of Tetyushi in 1921. Beluga weighed 960 kg (including 200 kg of caviar) and was more than 5 meters long. The museum complex includes a fishing house, a mermaid's workshop, a pond, etc. “A wonderful museum, unique in its content and design,” the ministry experts say.
The excursion in Tetyushi ended with a visit to the Dolgaya Polyana estate complex, the former estate of the Counts of the Molostvovs. "An old manor, preserved in its original form, a chic larch alley, a mountain-Altai spruce, planted in 1887, a wonderful view of the Kuibyshev reservoir and the Great Bolgar ... it is a wonderful place, ”Elena Tolochko, trip organizer, shared her impressions.
After Tetyushsky district, the excursion continued in the Kamsko-Ustyinsky district. The team of the Ministry also visited the memorial complex dedicated to the victims of the accident of the Bulgaria, the first cheese factory for the production of cheese Camembert and the nursery Kedr.
Alexander Afanasyev, a technologist from Kamamber LLC, told in details about the work of the enterprise. The plant was built in 2016, and it has been fully operationing since 2018. The company has its own farm, produces classic cheese with mold "Camembert" and "Brie". All production - natural, without additives. LLC “Camembert” provides with its products large stores in Kazan. It should be noted that after the tasting, the specialists of the ministry replenished the ranks of fans of “Camembert” cheese.
