29 May 2019, Wednesday

On May 28, a commission from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan jointly with the Department of Agriculture of the Nizhnekamsk region examined equipment intended for the preparation of feed.

“The first stage - the spring field work in the area - has been successfully completed, now the second, equally important stage is the timely and high-quality preparation of feed. For us, for Nizhnekamsk people, meat and milk are the “barometer”. Today, animal husbandry is the main source, but there can be no talk of it for livestock feed, ”says Munir Minnullin, head of the department of agriculture and food. - We have all the conditions for fodder procurement. Today we have a good energy supply: tractors, combines, self-propelled machines, lumber carriers. And the weather allows to actively engage in beveling hay and haylage. ” The plan for this year is to harvest 15,500 tons of hay, 52,930 tons of silage and 50,560 tons of haylage.

Security was also discussed at the meeting. Instructions are given every day, all machines have overalls, first-aid kits.

“I have been working on the Nizhnekamsk fields for 3 season already. My car is a self-propelled mower. It is designed for mowing perennial grasses and cereals. During my shift, I work from 6 am to 6 pm, I can mow about 60-70 hectares. We work in any weather, - says mechanic Oleg Zakharov. “Last year we received a grant from the republic — 50,000 rubles each.”

The number of cattle livestock as of May is 12,076 heads, including 5,174 cows. Agricultural enterprises of Nizhnekamsk produced 6,600 tons of meat in four months. Positive dynamics is observed in milk production. So, according to the results of work for 4 months of the current year, the gross milk yield amounted to 10,675 tons of milk. The yield per 1 fodder cow was 2,063 kilograms of milk. Today, the average daily milk yield per cow is 16.8 kg, the average in the republic is 16 kg. The farmers' plan is to prepare a supply of feed at the rate of 30 centners per 1 head.

Leninogorsk district started to prepare fodder. Agrofirm "Leninogorsk", which is managed by JSC "Tatagrolizing" has already brought harvesters to the fields.
