Marat Akhmetov made a working visit to Tetyushsky, Buinsky and Drozhzhanovsky districts of Tatarstan

Today, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov visited the Tetyushsky, Buinsky and Drozhzhanovsky districts of the republic to learn about the course of spring field work.

After inspecting the fields, Marat Akhmetov met with the head of each of the districts, heads of farms, farmers and heads of rural settlements, spoke about the implementation of state programs to support agricultural producers and answered questions from managers and specialists of agricultural organizations.

In the Tetyushsky district winter crops were sown on an area of 18.6 thousand hectares, the death of winter crops amounted to 61%. The total area of spring crops amounted to 45.2 thousand hectares, including spring grain - more than 27.2 thousand hectares: barley - 11.3 thousand hectares, wheat - 13.9 thousand hectares, oats - 0.2 thousand hectares. Sugar beet sowing is being completed on an area of 5.9 thousand hectares.

Sowing in the Buinsk district is also completed by 99%, it remains to sow rapeseed (350 hectares) and corn (200 hectares). The spring sowing was carried out on an area of more than 72 thousand hectares, including more than 46 thousand hectares of spring grains: barley - 14.22 thousand hectares, wheat - 25 thousand hectares, sunflower - 1.8 thousand hectares.

The highest percentage of winter crops lost was in the Drozhzhanovsky district - 82% of the sowing for 12,500 hectares. North spring in the area amounted to 41 thousand hectares, including spring grain - 25.3 thousand hectares: barley - 9.8 thousand hectares, oats - 1 thousand hectares, wheat - 12.1 thousand hectares, as well as sugar beet, 3, 8 thousand hectares sowing of which will be completed soon.

Marat Akhmetov positively assessed the organization of spring field work in the districts, discussed the existing problems and solutions with the residents, answered questions on the implementation of state support measures for agricultural producers and the development of small business forms.
