Rustam Minnikhanov appreciated the progress of the sowing campaign in the Rybno-Slobodsky district of Tatarstan

Today, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov familiarized himself with the progress of spring field work in the Rybno-Slobodsky municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan. During the working visit of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov accompanied him.

The meeting with heads of farms, investors and heads of settlements was held next to the Kulon-Agro cattle-breeding complex.

The head of the region Ildar Tazutdinov reported that the sowing campaign on the fields of the district was 76% complete. Farmers were planning to complete work on the remaining areas by May 15-16. Sixteen farms have already completed planting. Winter crops were sown on an area of 13 thousand hectares, but the weather made its own adjustments: 2.1 thousand hectares of land were damaged. 

Under the current crop, 50 kg of mineral fertilizers per hectare have been accumulated.

Today, the region’s farms produce 50 tons of milk per day. Marat Akhmetov noted that the district has enough potential to significantly increase the indicators for the development of crop and livestock production.

The head of the Rybno-Slobodsky Agrotechnical Technical School appealed to the President of Tatarstan with a request to assist with the repair of the school building. Rustam Minnikhanov suggested considering the possibility of repairing an educational institution in 2020, as part of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the TASSR.

Then the President of Tatarstan got acquainted with the work of the Kulon-Agro cattle breeding complex. Today, there are 1.5 thousand heads of cattle, including 683 cows. Each gives an average of 21.5 liters of milk per day.

The complex has an automatic system of group milking and mechanized feeding technology. In the future, it is planned to increase the number of livestock to 2.4 thousand heads, of which 1 thousand are dairy cows. The annual milk production is expected to reach 7 thousand tons.
