According to the head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, the area of crops in Tatarstan in the current year will be 2.8 million hectares. Spring sowing will be produced on an area of 1.7 million hectares, grain and leguminous crops will occupy 1.5 million hectares, industrial crops - 336 thousand hectares, forage crops - about 1 million hectares.
Since autumn, 561 thousand hectares of winter crops have been sown (winter wheat - 428.6 thousand hectares, winter rye - 126.9 thousand hectares, triticale (a hybrid of wheat and rye) - 5.3 thousand hectares). “In the Republic, by the order of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, from May 2, an emergency situation was introduced. Currently, many farms are actively working to re-plant the dead winter crops, ”explained Marat Akhmetov.
Agricultural producers of the republic accumulated over 50 kg ae / ha of mineral fertilizers (as of the corresponding date of the previous year, this indicator was 47.5 kg ai / ha).
“Today, the sowing of spring crops has been carried out on an area of 900 thousand hectares, or 52% of the planned,” Marat Akhmetov emphasized. “The main sowing is scheduled to be completed by May 10.”
According to the minister, as of May 7 of the current year, spring grain crops were sown on an area of 604 thousand hectares. Sugar beets were sown on an area of 52 thousand hectares, oilseeds - on an area of 100 thousand hectares, vegetables - on an area of 420 hectares, potatoes - 187 hectares. Provision of seeds is 110%, which is enough, and taking into account the replanting of dead winter crops.
“The farmers of Aksubayevsky, Aktanyshsky, Buinsky, Drozhzhanovsky, Zainsky and Nurlatsky districts have high rates of work — they have sown more than 70% of the area,” Marat Akhmetov said, “there are no lagging areas among the republics, just in these areas the weather conditions allowed to start spring field work before. "
The amount of state support for agricultural producers in 2019 will be 12.8 billion rubles, including 4.1 billion rubles from the budget of the Russian Federation and 8.7 billion rubles from the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan. The main areas of support this year will be: providing incoherent support in the field of crop production - 782.6 million rubles, the purchase of mineral fertilizers - 1.5 billion rubles, technical re-equipment - 2 billion rubles, carrying out reclamation activities - 296 million rubles. The grant to support novice farmers, family farms and agricultural cooperatives provided 1 billion rubles, for subsidies of private farms - 566 million rubles.
“The spring field work from the budget for various items provided 6.2 billion rubles of subsidies. The main part of the funds (5.2 billion rubles) has already been brought to the households, ”said Marat Akhmetov.
